This is a 2 hour guided tour of the Grandview Clydesdales operation, which puts you up close and personal with one of the most award winning Clydesdale farms in the world and not to mention one of the most famous breeds of horse in the world; the Clydesdale!
You will get to experience the day to day operations of Grandview Clydesdales and all aspects will be covered. This includes right from the beginning of a new clydesdale life; which is the ultrasounding the mares for breeding, to the birth of baby Clydesdales, all the way through to winning world championships or starring in famous commercials; this tour will miss nothing in between.

  • This tour is handicapped and elderly-friendly.
  • You will have entrance and access to one of the largest and most successful Clydesdale farms in the world for decades.
  • You will have guided access to look and touch the most recognized and most famous breed of horse in the world, champion Clydesdales!
  • You will be given a guided tour of the show barn where the show horses live and train out of before traveling all over North America to compete.
  • You will get to see the training centers and how different horses get trained different ways.
  • You will get to be up close and personal with some of the most famous Clydesdale stallions in the stallion barn.
  • You will get a guided tour in the breeding barn where all of our mares are bred and where we collect and ship cooled semen throughout North America and frozen semen throughout the world.
  • You will get a tour of our laboratory where all the preparations are done for shipping semen.
  • You will get up close to admire the craftsmanship of some of our beautiful wagons and carriages on property, that we use in competition and training.
  • You will get to see some of the thousand plus awards and trophies that we have won and been honored with over the years.
  • You will get to see the semi trailers and other trailers that these champions get transported all over the country.
  • You will be given guided access to see baby Clydesdales, this is one of the highlights of the tour for many people!
  • You will enjoy the Grandview Clydesdale store onsite where merchandise and apparel along with antiques will be available. (coming soon)
    This tour is very educational in all aspects of the Clydesdale Horse, it is truly a tour like no other in the world and you won’t want to miss it!

Christmas Tours

This tour will be an evening tour that will give you the chance to experience Grandview Clydesdales, Christmas style! With the farm lit up by beautiful lights and Christmas trees, this is a true crowd favorite!

After Hours Clydesdale Tour

This is a tour that is held in the evening only on special dates throughout the year. It is a wonderful time to mix work, friends and family and the Clydesdale horse altogether. This can be as simple as a work party or team building or as special as a wedding, anniversary or birthday celebration!

Clydesdale Education Tour

A tour of the Clydesdale horse (basically the Clydesdale Experience Tour) but specific to age level. This tour is designed more for school field trips of ALL ages, from kindergarten to college students.
